How do I use the One - GPS Pendant in an emergency?+

Press and hold the SOS button for around 2 seconds. The pendant will vibrate and its lights will flash to confirm it is connecting to our care team. When the call connects, speak normally — the built-in speaker and microphone let you hold a two-way conversation with our responder, who will arrange the help you need. If you're unable to respond, your nominated contacts and, if needed, the emergency services will still be alerted. GPS lets us send help to your location wherever you are.

My One - GPS Pendant battery runs out of charge too fast+

This is usually caused by overcharging — we recommend charging your pendant once a day only. If the battery is still running down within a day, please call us on 0800 688 9961 and we'll look into it.

My One - GPS Pendant isn't charging+

1. Make sure the SOS button is facing up and sitting flush on the charging pad. 2. Check the cable is pushed fully into the pad. 3. Try a different socket. If the issue persists, please call us on 0800 688 9961.

Is the One - GPS Pendant water resistant?+

Yes. The One - GPS Pendant is water resistant and safe to wear in the shower and bath — where many falls happen. We do not recommend swimming with it or submerging it in water for long periods.

Will the One - GPS Pendant interfere with my pacemaker?+

If you have a pacemaker, please do not wear the device as a pendant around your neck. We're happy to offer a keyring attachment or belt clip instead. If you have any concerns, please check with your healthcare provider or your pacemaker's manufacturer.

How does fall detection work?+

Built-in sensors detect a sudden movement followed by a rapid stop — the pattern of a fall. The system is calibrated to reduce false alerts from normal activity like sitting down quickly. It cannot detect every kind of fall, so if you have a fall and can press the button, always do. Fall detection is a powerful safety feature, but it should not be relied on as the only way to call for help.
